The Hive
The Hive's new site on Rougham Road will be our base of operations. We will be hosting sessions for families and adults from late 2020, as well as growing a variety of fruit and vegetables for our community. We look forward to welcoming our visitors soon! Community groups and tutors can use the site for running educational sessions and workshops which compliment the values of West Suffolk Hive CIC and benefit the local community.

£10 per hour
£30 per session (morning or afternoon)
£50 for a full day

- Forest schools, bushcraft, archery, outdoor learning
- Mindfulness, yoga, outdoor dance and music
- Art and craft classes, willow weaving, wreath making, furniture making
- First aid, food hygiene, health and safety, safeguarding courses
- Baby and toddler sessions
- Birthday Parties
- Education groups, tutors, school groups, brownies, scouts etc
- Meetings, women’s and girls’ circles, storytelling, book clubs

Conditions
- All activities must be supervised by a qualified and fully insured adult.
- West Suffolk Hive CIC reserves the right to be present at the site at any time.
- Users of the site are responsible for their own insurance and for the safety and wellbeing of their participants. West Suffolk Hive CIC accepts no liability for accidents or injury caused during a session which is not hosted by The Hive.
- The hirer is responsible for ensuring the site is returned to its original condition at the end of their session. All waste must be removed from the site.
- No smoking is permitted anywhere within the site at any time
- Use of resources such as crockery, tea and coffee and gardening equipment can be arranged if required
- No more than 12 cars can park at the site at one time
- The hirer must provide evidence of Public Liability Insurance, Risk Assessments and any relevant certificates such as food hygiene etc to West Suffolk Hive CIC
- Payment will be required on booking. Cancellation no later than 24 hours prior to booking will receive a refund. If cancellation is due to extreme circumstances, the event can be postponed rather than cancelled.
