The Hive Site Hire
Community groups and tutors can use the site for running educational sessions and workshops which compliment the values of West Suffolk Hive CIC and benefit the local community. Examples of activities which can take place are:

Prices
£15 per hour (Hive Members), £25 per hour (non-members)
£30 per session - morning or afternoon (Hive Members), £50 per session (non-members)
£60 for a full day (Hive Members), £100 per day (non-members)

Conditions
All activities must be supervised by a qualified and fully insured adult. For birthday parties, a named responsible adult will remain responsible for the supervision of any children on site at all times.
West Suffolk Hive CIC reserves the right for staff to be present at the site at any time. Users of the site are responsible for their own insurance and for the safety and wellbeing of their participants. West Suffolk Hive CIC accepts no liability for accidents or injury caused during a session which is not hosted by The Hive.
The hirer is responsible for ensuring the site is returned to its original condition at the end of their session. All waste must be removed from the site.

- No smoking is permitted anywhere within the site at any time
- Use of resources such as crockery, tea and coffee and gardening equipment can be arranged if required
- No more than 12 cars can park at the site at one time
- The hirer must provide evidence of Public Liability Insurance, Risk Assessments and any relevant certificates such as food hygiene etc to West Suffolk Hive CIC
- Payment will be required on booking. Cancellation no later than 24 hours prior to booking will receive a refund. If cancellation is due to extreme circumstances, the event can be postponed rather than cancelled.
- Please ensure children do not go too near the pond, put anything in or remove anything from the pond.
- Be aware that there is a bee hive behind the pond, please do not approach it.
- Please respect the site - please do not pick any flowers, fruit or vegetables, do not climb the fruit trees, and keep the noise level down near the cemetery.
- Please keep dogs on a lead and clean up after them.
- Take care around the site, the ground may be slippery, there is a deep pond and ditch, there may be brambles and tree roots, and there is an active bee hive in the meadow.
- When using the log cabin, please ensure all the windows are shut and the doors are properly locked with the key returned to the box. Make sure the gate is locked on your way out.
- Please take any rubbish away with you.
- Please make us aware of any issues, damage or incidents as soon as possible.
