Still Good Food
Still Good Food is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO Charity Number: 1193073) working to help reduce the huge amounts of food that are thrown away every day.
Our aim is to re-distribute surplus stock and stock that has gone past its 'Best Before Date' but still good to eat (as per guidance from Defra and the Food Standards Agency). We collect food directly from supermarkets, local independent retailers, local producers and distributors and redistribute the produce on a ‘pay as you feel’ basis through our shop in Bury St Edmunds (minimum donation £1). By doing this, not only do we reduce the amount of food that is wasted, but we also provide good, nutritional, low cost food to our community. We also seek to help educate people about the difference between the ‘Best Before Date’ and the 'Use By Date' helping them be better informed and to make better decisions about what food is still good to eat. |

The Iced Vegan
Hi I’m Trudy, a vegan artisan baker based in Mundford within the beautiful Thetford Forest! I cover the whole of the East of England creating unique cakes for any occasion! I also attend local vegan fayres whereby you can try a selection of my vegan cupcakes and treats.
Specialising in Weddings and Celebrations, my cakes are baked fresh to order using only quality ingredients, accompanied by my homemade sauces, jams and vegan curds. This ensures they are moist, full of natural flavour and very tasty! By nature, they are free from egg and dairy, but I also make lots of cakes without using gluten, soya, nuts or refined sugars. My cakes are enjoyed by vegans and non-vegans alike, and I love nothing more than hearing feedback that says 'no-one knew or believed they were vegan'. I can cater for all food intolerances too so your cake can be enjoyed by all your family and friends.
